Privacy Policy
Last updated 4 November 2026
What we collect
Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider), or your Google profile name and email if you sign in with Google.
Usage data: a daily count of API requests per account, and when each API key was last used. We do not log the search terms you send to the API.
Pro applications: the name, company, website, use case and expected volume you submit.
How we use it
To run your account, issue and verify API keys, enforce rate limits, review Pro applications, prevent abuse, and contact you about your account or important changes to the Service. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.
API keys
API keys are shown to you once and then stored only as a one-way hash, so even we cannot read them.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers that host and operate the Service (such as our database and authentication providers), under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.
Retention
We keep account data while your account is active. Usage counts are kept to show your history and detect abuse. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile, keys and applications within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep records.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent. Contact us through the email associated with your account to make a request.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by row-level permissions, and administrative actions are limited to authorised staff. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Cookies
We use only essential browser storage to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Children
The Service is intended for developers and businesses and is not directed to children under 18.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy here with a new “Last updated” date.
